The legal marijuana industry is one of the fastest developing industries in the U.S. The sudden blossoming of this completely novel industry relies solely on the cultivation and production of a plant – cannabis – that only a rare few know how to care for at a professional level.
This realization spawned the idea for University of Arizona grad, Nick Morin, to develop Growers Network, a private community for commercial cannabis professionals that provides a vetted environment where high-quality information can be traded between individuals and companies with a vested interest in the commercial cannabis industry.
“We connect commercial master growers, owners of dispensaries and cultivation facilities, academics, and product manufacturers together to elevate commercial cannabis cultivation and provide the opportunity to create the most innovative and advanced products and methodologies. We unite our members for the purpose of improving their knowledge base and respective businesses,” Morin told AZmarijuana.com.
Growers Network launched its beta community this December to allow early access for marijuana cultivation professionals. All applicants must pass a vetting process before being accepting into the community. Morin plans to launch the full-scale community in early 2017.
