AZ state legislators continuously attempt to undermine the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act (AMMA) that voters passed in 2010. Recently, an attempt by Rep. Jay Lawrence via bill HCR2019 would have decimated Arizona’s medical marijuana program; but Arizonans took action in large numbers and emailed, called and mailed Rep. Jay Lawrence, and within days he posted via Twitter that he killed his own bill.
But now is not the time to relax. Arizonans who support medical (and recreational) marijuana must stay strong and take a stand by rallying at the Arizona State Capitol building in Phoenix. There has never been a large rally at the Arizona State Capitol building, but we are going to change that and make a statement: Arizonans want medical marijuana and we will stand strong and (peacefully) fight for what we want!
Join the (peaceful) rally on Wednesday, January 27th at 10am.
