(AP) — The Missouri State Highway Patrol asked “Who’s a good boy?” in a tweet after one of its dogs sniffed out about 220 pounds (99.79 kilograms) of marijuana during two traffic stops on Interstate 70.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports that Rony’s expert nose landed a Georgia man and a couple from Virginia behind bars after they where caught with the drugs while traveling through Cooper County in central Missouri.
Court documents reveal that searches of the suspects’ vehicles netted 114 vacuum-sealed bundles of cannabis and about 2 pounds of THC-infused edibles. The suspects faces charges that include drug trafficking and receiving stolen property.
The arrests happened within 4 days of each other.
