Saber Vape Pen

Saber Vape Pen

When you are looking for your all-day-vape, what are some key components that you want to see the most? You’re looking for great build quality, simple and ergonomic design, efficiency, and something that is really going to make whatever concentrates you are using pop with flavor. The Saber Vape Pen for wax and shatter offers up all of that in a tiny package!

The market has been overrun lately with small devices that claim they have all the greatest features and deserve the top spot. These are just examples of companies vying for attention by pandering to what they think consumers want. This should not be indicative of what the Saber Vape Pen stands for.

Quality Design – Pen, Packaging & All

Right out of the box, you can tell that the Saber Vape Pen for concentrates is one of those devices that really stands out. The elegant packaging with vibrant colors makes you want to see what goodies are inside. Once you get to the device itself, it is on like Donkey Kong.

The Saber Vape Pen comes completely assembled, and is packaged alongside a magnetic USB charger, a dab tool, your typical instruction manual, and a spare coil head. From the jump, the device is ready to use. Click the firing button five times, and you’re on your way to flavor town.

The Saber Vape seems to be constructed out of high-grade stainless steel, making it feel heavy despite being a tiny device. The device is also highly resistant to scratching; I have kept the Saber in my pocket alongside two sets of keys for hours on end and taken it out with no scratching whatsoever.

Wax Simmering Temperature Control

The Saber Vape Pen boasts temperature control technology that will allow you to simmer your wax at lower heat levels – this allows you to extract the purest, best taste possible.  Most vapes on the market just blindly heat a coil, usually too hot, skewing the taste of the wax concentrates.  Not only that, but the temp control is incredibly easy to use.

In addition to simmering heat setting, you can cycle through three separate temperature ranges, changing colors – Green: 3.7V (390-570°F), Blue: 3.9V (570-750°F), Red: 4.2V (750-895°F).  As the consumer, you can now choose which temperature best fits your needs. For me, the middle and high settings were great and provided excellent flavor without decimating whatever wax or shatter I was loading the device up with. No matter which setting you choose, you will still get all the great taste and effects of your concentrates.

No Mess Magnetic Connections

Saber

The best part about this wax pen is that every piece, the chamber, battery and mouthpiece, are held together by neodymium magnets – that’s right, no threads.   And these magnets are super strong and can handle being jostled about pretty heavily without being pulled apart.

With the older thread-style, it sometimes became near impossible to unscrew a chamber so you can charge the battery.  The Saber Vape parts are instead held together by strong magnets so there are no small crevices for the wax build up.

The Downsides

There are only a few downsides to the Saber Vape – the size of the dab tool that comes with the kit and the extra ceramic donut coil.  Now, the dabber is not necessarily a bad tool, but it is rather small. It would have been nice to see a longer tool that can really get the job done more easily.  The ceramic donut coil is included as a negative only because I do not prefer it. I think the device should come with a spare dual quartz rod coil like the one that is already attached to the device.

There is a negative when it comes to build quality, too.  The manufacturers only included a 650 milliampere hour (mAh) lithium-ion battery within the Saber.  Versus some other batteries, that translates to less time to play around with the vape before having to charge it back up, particularly for the heavy users.  This load is lightened with the magnetic, straight-to-USB charger included, but it is still worth noting.

The Heating Chambers

The dual quartz rod coil head is one of the best wax/shatter atomizers I have used to date. There is plenty of airflow, a comparable amount of space to the size of the device, and flavor that this coil head provides is phenomenal.

The kit comes with an extra replacement coil, a ceramic donut coil.  It is not my favorite but the vapor hits are still very flavorful and it is better than the older style wick coils.

Conclusion

All-in-all, the Saber Vape Pen for wax and shatter is hands-down at the top of my list for pen-type devices. With the market being saturated with these smaller vapes, it is hard to tell which ones are worth your time and money. I can assure you that the Saber Vape Pen is worth it. There is so much greatness packed inside such a small frame. Sure, I wish there was a longer battery life, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons here.

If you are searching for a device that will bring out all the wonderful flavors of your wax, and you want something small, efficient and simple, then you should pick up a Saber Vape Pen at nyvapeshop.com. There is no doubt about it.
