List of Dispensary Licenses Available in Phoenix Metro Cities; numbers and competition

Arizona medical marijuana law only allows for one marijuana dispensary for every 10 pharmacy licenses that are issued. This means that in total, Arizona should have about 126 medical marijuana dispensaries if all the licenses are active.

A small number of dispensary licenses have been set aside for the communities on Native American reservation land. These communities will have one year to decide if they will utilize the 16 set aside licenses.

Below is a list of the number of marijuana dispensaries allowed in Phoenix metro cities, the applicants as of May 1st, 2011 and the restrictions each of the cities have put into place for dispensary locations.
