Marana approves conditional-use permit for dispensary

Progressive Herbal Care has been given approval for a conditional-use permit to open a medical marijuana dispensary by The Marana Planning and Zoning Commission. The dispensary has plans to open at 6248 N. Travel Center Drive in Marana, Arizona.

The permit passed with a 5-2 vote on April 28^th. Chairman Fogel and Commissioner Adragna voted against the measure.

Progressive Herbal Care is the first company to file for a condition-use permit for a medical marijuana dispensary within Marana city limits. According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, the city of Marana will only be allowed one dispensary.
