A Pabst Blue Ribbon THC Seltzer Hits the Market

A new cannabis-infused beverage is now available in California. The lemon flavored seltzer contains five milligrams of THC, the main psychoactive substance in cannabis, but does not contain alcohol.

Beer maker Pabst Blue Ribbon isn’t actually making the new marijuana product, but they have licensed their name to a new California-based company called Pabst Labs, CNN reported.

“Our community has been asking us to do something in the cannabis space,” Pabst Blue Ribbon stated. “Until the legal landscape changes, we can’t produce this in-house.”

PBR has no stake in Pabst Labs. Instead, this appears to be a unique way for a mainstream company to capture new customers.
