Barneys High End Cannabis

Barneys New York, the luxury department store chain, will be the first major retailer to launch a luxury cannabis lifestyle and wellness concept shop. “The High End” will open inside Barneys New York’s Beverly Hills flagship store in March.

Roach clips, bongs and grinders are also on the list of products offered.  The high-end retailer will have a sterling silver grinder with a price tag of $1,475, The New York Times reports. They’ll also be offering rolling papers from organically cultivated French hemp, handblown water pipes, Martine Ali stash boxes, and other high-end smoking essentials.

“If someone is going to come into a physical store, they really expect more than product, because product, unfortunately, is available in a million different places,” said President of Barneys, Daniella Vitale. “We want to make sure there is an entertainment value here.”

Celebrity tattoo artist Scott Campbell is looking forward to visiting the new luxury cannabis head shop.

“It’s made for people like me: high-functioning adults who may use cannabis once or twice a week,” Campbell commented. “I’ve got kids to raise, careers to maintain, and when I do have time to enjoy weed, I don’t care how much it costs. I just want the best possible experience.”

The High End will offer a curation of vintage accessories including lighters, trays, cases and more. For relaxation and calming benefits, there will be a variety of CBD-infused beauty and scented products from brands like Saint Jane, Foria, Lab to Beauty, Flora and Bast, The Good Patch, Vertly, Body Vibes, Malin + Goetz, Heretic, and Boysmells. Barneys will not be selling marijuana. Customers can also purchase these products at Barneys.com.

State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
