22Red, the lifestyle brand with cannabis on the menu founded by System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian, is proud to announce that they have partnered with Lonestar Select for their cultivation and genetics in Arizona. The brand entered the Arizona market in 2020 and immediately found a dedicated fanbase for its curated indoor-grown premium flower, pre-rolls, and concentrates. As their presence grew to more than 60 dispensaries in the state, the brand looked to expand its cultivation opportunities and found an ideal partner in Lonestar Select.
“Things have been blowing up for us in Arizona, and we knew we were going to have to partner with a cultivator to meet that demand, said Odadjian. “After a long and careful look at what Lonestar Select has been doing at their facility, we felt great about working with them and that they could meet our high quality bar thanks to their technology driven grow.”
Lonestar Select has been cultivating cannabis since 2011 when the state was medical only. Unlike many other cultivation facilities in Arizona, Lonestar Select was built from the ground up to grow cannabis. Their team had long been passionate about the plant before officially opening their doors and have sought to use technology at the forefront of the industry to create exceptional strains.
Lonestar Select’s Head of Cultivation, Spencer Keim, said, “I love the science behind it. For all of the years I have been growing cannabis commercially, I have never stopped learning. There are always new and improved ways to cultivate, and I feel like we have just scratched the surface.” With the facility beginning in the medical-only era, Lonestar Select goes to extreme lengths to prevent contaminants from affecting their product – ensuring the end result is both spectacular and safe for users to enjoy.
The partnership was created in tandem with 22Red launching a new pre-roll pack in Arizona. It is the first time the brand has created a multi-unit product specifically designed for sharing and social use. Each sleek, beautifully constructed pack consists of seven pre-rolls filled with .5 grams of top-notch, indoor-grown flower. It is the same flower found in 22Red’s premium indoor jars, as opposed to the shake and leaves common in most pre-roll products. Starting with six wildly delicious and potent strains, the brand launches its pre-roll pack with a unique and diverse selection.
More new products are expected to come from 22Red this year. As the brand continues to bring new offerings to Arizona through its collaboration with Lonestar Select, it will also expand its product lines in nearby states, California and Nevada.
