Sol Flower

Copperstate Farms, the country’s largest cannabis cultivator with a 40-acre farm in Snowflake, and Sol Flower, Arizona’s leading dispensary and wellness brand, are proud to celebrate their 9th anniversary by inviting the public to celebrate at their Tempe dispensary at 2424 W University.

Festivities will be ongoing throughout the day, with the official celebration taking place on Friday, October 24, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. The large-scale intimate event is a tribute to the community that has supported Copperstate Farms and Sol Flower. Guests will be treated to mocktails, prizes and will get to mingle with influencers.

Since opening in 2016, Sol Flower continues to serve Arizona’s medical marijuana patients and adult-use recreational consumers by empowering wellness through education, community, and cannabis.

With nine dispensary locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, Sun City, Tucson and Phoenix, Sol Flower offers over 50 top-quality brands and strains and more than 900 unique products in-store, including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, infused beverages and more. An open and clean store design welcomes adult customers 21+, offering a convenient shopping experience with an added loyalty program. The packaging of some products reflects the beautiful landscape of Arizona, being a copper state.

Copperstate Farms recently added 10,000 sq ft. to its 1,500 sq ft. kitchen, an extension of the recently enlarged distribution and warehouse center located behind Sol Flower in Tempe.

“I’m excited about the solventless hash gummies we’ll make there,” said Teresa Hansen, Director of Wholesale & Edible Operations. “The new facility provides an expanded space for manufacturing, and along with the kitchen, allows for additional packaging of concentrates, cartridge fillings, etc. The customer benefit is fresher products on the shelf more quickly, and with increased capacity, there’ll be cost savings.

“This anniversary isn’t just about how far we’ve come but about the people who made it all possible,” said Caroline Riggs, Executive Vice President of Retail & Marketing. “From our team to our patients, our adult-use customers, and the broader Arizona cannabis community, we’re here because of you.”

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
