Arizona Cannabis Community Has Upcoming Industry Events

AZ Cannafriends, an Arizona-based cannabis community, is hosting monthly networking events in Phoenix and Tucson that are open to the general public.

The community is focused on supporting the state’s medical and recreational cannabis industries and has a “goal of helping to connect patients to new brands, brands to new potential employees, and everyone to new friends.”

AZ Cannafriends started out as a few friends meeting monthly for a get together at a bar in Downtown Phoenix. Word spread of these monthly meetings and more and more industry entrepreneurs started to gather.

Current meetings, which are offered in Phoenix and Tucson once a month, offer a networking style event where attendees enjoy learning about brands and dispensaries while listening to music, eating food, winning prizes from the raffles and gaining new Cannafriends. Some brands even unveil their new product lines at the Cannafriends events.

Arizona legalized cannabis for medical use in 2010 and for recreational use in 2020. It is legal for Arizona medical marijuana patients and anyone 21 or older to buy cannabis products from Arizona dispensaries.
