Expungement Arizona
One of Arizona’s largest locally-owned producers and purveyors of high-quality sun-grown cannabis, Sunday Goods is opening their Tempe location to host two expungement clinics alongside Arizona NORML in November. Arizona NORML is a grassroots organization fighting for industry accountability and the reform of marijuana laws in Arizona.

“We could not be prouder to partner with Arizona NORML in hosting these crucial clinics for all Arizonans who were unjustly arrested or convicted on low-level marijuana offenses,” said Matt Daley, Vice President of Marketing for Sunday Goods. “We welcome everyone to visit our Tempe location and work with the staff of NORML to rightfully clear their records.”

Hosted outside the Tempe dispensary on Saturday, November 12 and Saturday, November 19 from 10 am – 4 pm, these free-to-the-public expungement clinics are held with the goal of helping ensure that every eligible Arizonan can clear their previous criminal record. In order to qualify under Proposition 207, arrests for low-level marijuana offenses can be cleared if they fall under:

· Possessing, consuming, or transporting 2.5 ounces or less of marijuana

· Possessing, consuming, or transporting 12.5 grams or less of concentrates

· Possessing, transporting, cultivating, or processing 6 or fewer marijuana plants

· Possessing, using, or transporting marijuana paraphernalia

“At Arizona NORML, our goal is simple: to reform marijuana laws by any legitimate means,” said the group’s Acting Co-Director, Jon Udell. “We also strive to educate the public and mitigate the collateral consequences of our government’s long-running war on cannabis consumers. Expungement clinics like these are an essential means to ensure that all Arizonans can move on from the unjust consequences of past charges, even if they cannot afford to hire a lawyer. And we simply can’t host these important clinics without valuable partners such as Sunday Goods.”

As an added bonus for those clearing their records on these Saturdays in November, there will also be food trucks on-site.

Sunday Goods’ Tempe location is housed inside a striking, art-gallery-like 5,000-sq.-ft. space on the Tempe/Scottsdale border (723 N. Scottsdale Rd.), and also features a drive-thru. Open daily from 10 am to 10 pm for both medical patients and adult-use customers, this luxurious-yet-welcoming location offers a resort-style lobby and check-in desk, on-site concierges to help with any questions, ample on-site parking and complimentary kombucha and Cartel Coffee Lab cold brew on tap.

⚡️

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
