SWCC EXPO 2016

Arizona’s largest professional and educational marijuana industry event, the Southwest Cannabis Conference & Expo (SWCC EXPO), will be held from October 14-16 at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix.

This year’s SWCC EXPO will feature more than 300 exhibitors. Thousands of attendees are expected at the 3-day conference.

A Cannabis Boot Camp seminar – that will discuss state-specific topics and changes in Arizona if Proposition 205 passes in November – will kick-off the SWCC EXPO on October 14. On October 15 and 16, the expo will include an open convention center floor with marijuana industry businesses’ booths, interactive workshops, industry-leading guest speakers, business-to-business networking, and more.

The event brings local and national marijuana industry professionals together to network and share the latest industry information. Anyone interested in the marijuana industry can meet and learn more from these industry experts.

Medical marijuana patients and non-patients are welcomed to attend the SWCC EXPO.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
