Phoenix Edibles Company Starts Coronavirus Support Campaign

Baked Bros

All around the world and in local Arizona communities, people are experiencing unimaginable circumstances in relation to COVID-19. As a local Arizona business, Baked Bros knew that home was where they could help the most. This week Baked Bros started it‚Äôs ‚ÄúThink Global, Support Local‚ÄĚ campaign to help raise awareness and provide resources for the Arizona community. They are encouraging other cannabis companies, as well as the general public, to give back to the community that has supported all of us.

Below is the current list of projects Baked Bros working on to support the local community:

General Public: Baked Bros has partnered with A New Leaf Foundation to address the urgent need to increase funding to domestic violence shelters, which are experiencing unprecedented numbers due to elevated economic and social stressors from Stay at Home orders. They have set up a gofundme page with a goal set to raise $50,000 where they will be donating a percentage of their April sales. All proceeds will go to A New Leaf Foundation.

Baked Bros CEO, Thomas Rimbach is confident in the community‚Äôs ability to make a significant impact on this issue, ‚ÄúThe medical cannabis industry and the community we serve is rich with hardworking, compassionate, and community-minded professionals who are eager to give back. We are mobilizing the compassion and strength of our community and directing it towards local organizations that we feel best serve the causes that are closest to us and our community. That‚Äôs why we chose A New Leaf.‚ÄĚ

Local Businesses: During a time when businesses need it most, supporting local businesses helps stimulate our local economy.

Baked Bros has partnered with Cheba Hut, founded in Tempe, AZ, to cater the meals they are providing for dispensary staff, first responders, and health care workers.

Health Care Workers and First Responders: With the added pressure from COVID-19, first responders and health care workers are experiencing increased workloads and running low on crucial supplies. Baked Bros is providing hundreds of meals and medical supplies such as face shields, masks, and gloves to local hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, police stations, and fire departments.

Medical Marijuana Patients: Baked Bros recognizes that many of their customers have been faced with challenging circumstances. They gave away $420 to multiple people in their community and are offering the best promotions available on their products to help take care of the patients who rely on their medicine.

Dispensaries: Dispensaries have been deemed an essential business by the ADHS meaning dispensary workers are on the front lines of the pandemic, risking their health to serve the MMJ patients of Arizona. Baked Bros is catering food and providing face masks to several local dispensaries.
