Swell

Swell Farmacy is active year-round in the Arizona communities surrounding its dispensaries, but they really amp up their efforts for the holidays. In November, Swell partnered with St. Mary’s Food Bank for a canned food drive that, between all four dispensaries, collected almost five tons of food for families in need (roughly 10,000 lbs).

On December 1st, Swell will begin its annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit four charities: The Salvation Army, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Sojourner Center, and the Youngtown Winter Miracle. Swell encourages everyone to help out by donating.

Additionally, Swell is a proud sponsor of four children for the Cops For Kids Holiday Event organized by the Maricopa County Fraternal Order of Police. This effort benefits 200 children, each of whom is paired with a police officer who will take them on a Walmart shopping spree.

Swell doesn’t just give back at the store level either: the Swell cultivation (Swell Farms) in Holbrook, Arizona is a major staple in community support. Swell Farms will be holding a coat and toy drive, and will also adopt a family for the Christmas holiday. This is all in addition to the regular contributions and involvement Swell Farms has in the Holbrook community. In fact, Swell Farms was named Holbrook’s Business of the Month for November.

All in all, it’s clear that Swell really lives by its family mantra to Do Good. Do Right. Be Well.

⚡️

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
