Women Grow Phoenix

The Phoenix market of Women Grow is pulling out all the stops for its February 6th meeting.  In keeping with the Valentine’s Day theme of Love Is in the Air, the topic of the meeting is “Sex and Cannabis,” with special guest speaker Antuanette Gomez, CEO of Pleasure Peaks and the Toronto Canada Women Grow market leader. She will discuss sexual health and tantra with the use of cannabis.

Prior to the meeting, the market will be hosting its first quarterly “Speed Dating for CannaJobs.” As the name suggests, prospective employees will quickly meet and introduce themselves to licensed industry employers offering quality jobs in the cannabis industry.  Categories include part-time, full-time and seasonal positions in the dispensary, cultivation, infusion kitchen and extraction lab, as well as opportunities in doctor’s offices, testing labs and ancillary businesses. Many positions are entry level positions, however employers are also seeking seasoned professionals.

A newly formed company, With a Bhang Demos and Promotions will be interviewing for brand ambassadors to represent companies at vendor expos. Those positions are the perfect entry-level position for individuals seeking to work in the industry. For anyone seeking a job in the multi-billion dollar green rush, Speed Dating for CannaJobs is the place to be. Speed Dating for CannaJobs starts promptly at 5:00 p.m. Applicants seeking to participate in the job fair must be pre-registered and must arrive no later than 4:45 p.m.

“Many patients overlook the need for sexual health and don’t often think of cannabis as being the stimulant that it is”.  Marvina added, “In fact, my newest product, Egyptian Lover Cream will make its debut during the meeting and it couldn’t come at a better time,”  said Marvina Thomas, Phoenix Market Leader and CEO of 420Skincare.

The February Women Grow meeting will be held at the Ice House (429 W. Jackson in downtown Phoenix) with networking starting at 6:00 p.m. The entire community is welcome to enjoy lively music, food and plenty of raffle prizes.

Other participants for the February Meeting include Baked Brothers, 420 Skincare, C4 Laboratories, A6 Wellness and Pure Bliss Medibles.  Pure Bliss will be hosting a deliciously flavored Chocolate Fountain which will be on display throughout the evening.

Women Grow meetings are 420-friendly, so licensed patients may indulge in a sesh prior to the meeting in the patients-only patio.  For anyone interested in meeting or reconnecting with others in the cannabis industry, the Women Grow meeting at the Ice House on February 6th is definitely the place to do so.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
