Women Grow

The Phoenix Chapter of Women Grow is making history, yet again. The topic for its March 6th meeting is ā€œThe ABC’s of Launching a Successful Canna Business.” The panel participants are Ryan Tracey of C4 Laboratories, Kim Prince of Proven Media, James Cuff and Dana Swan from AZ Natural Selections, and Ingrid Joiya-Warrick of Pure Bliss Medibles.

According to co-market leader, Parisa Rad, ā€œWomen Grow is focused on providing an opportunity for industry hopefuls to get into the industry. Our meeting should be the first place anyone comes to network with industry professionals.”

Prior to the meeting, the chapter will be hosting its ā€˜Speed Hiring for Cannabis Jobsā€™. As the name suggests, prospective employees will quickly meet and introduce themselves to licensed industry employers offering quality jobs in the cannabis industry. Categories include part-time, full-time and seasonal positions in the dispensary, cultivation site, infusion kitchen and extraction lab, as well as opportunities in doctorā€™s offices, testing labs and ancillary businesses. Many positions are entry level positions, however employers are also seeking seasoned professionals to work in their businesses. More than 150 prospective applicants attended the February job fair.

With a Bhang Demos and Promotions will once again be interviewing for brand ambassadors to represent companies at vendor expos. Those positions are the perfect ā€œfirst jobā€ for individuals seeking to work in the industry.

The March Women Grow meeting will be held at the Ice House, 429 W. Jackson, Phoenix, with networking starting at 6:00 p.m. The entire community is welcome to enjoy lively music, food and plenty of raffle prizes. Registration for the Speed Hiring Job Fair starts promptly at 3:30 p.m. Applicants seeking to participate must be pre-registered, dressed in business attire and must have several copies of their resumes to distribute.

Women Grow meetings are 420 friendly, so licensed patients may indulge in a sesh prior to the meeting in the patientā€™s only patio. For anyone interested in meeting or reconnecting with others in the cannabis industry, the Women Grow meeting at the Ice House on March 6th is definitely the place to be. Sponsors for the March Meeting include AZmarijuana.com, Baked Bros, 420 Skincare, Metro Meds and Pure Bliss Medibles.

You do not want to miss the March Women Grow event. Register online at for the meeting. Tickets are only $25.00 and include free food, music and plenty of free goodies. The job fair is only a $10.00 add-on (less than the gas required to drive to a couple of dispensaries to drop off a resume), but space is limited, so it is imperative that you register in advance.
