A new beverage is coming from the inventor of Blue Moon Brewing Company, and it has something extra special in the recipe: marijuana.
The brewer will infuse marijuana into their upcoming beverage and plans to release three versions, KDVR 31 News reports. The new “beers” will be non-alcoholic, but are still supposed to provide consumers with intoxication (and without the alcohol-associated headaches).
The company also plans to sell the drinks in stores this fall. At first, the products will only be available in Colorado.
Keith Villa, developer of Blue Moon Belgian Wheat, said, “This is really about brewing great beers that beer drinkers love. You’d just swap out an alcoholic beer for one of our beers.”
