Researchers at Washington State University conducted a study showing that regular marijuana users are more relaxed in high-stress situations.
The study looked at several factors including if heavy marijuana use would relieve or increase stress after use, according to CT Post. They concluded that those using marijuana daily were much more calm than those that don’t, especially when tested with stressful situations.
All of the study’s participants were sober on the day of the stress reaction tests. The full findings of the study are available via the medical journal Psychopharmacology.
