Marijuana Festival

Mike Tyson’s post-boxing career has taken several interesting turns since his days as the heavyweight boxing champion.

His latest venture is Tyson Ranch, a 412-acre entertainment complex and cannabis facility in Desert Hot Springs, California, which will host the inaugural Kind Music Festival on Feb 23.

This “Cannabis Coachella” style event features a lineup of compelling musical acts, including Miguel, Starcrawler, Yonee, and All My Friends Hate Me, plus food trucks, mazes, rides, obstacles courses, and a bar area.

Although there will be no sales of marijuana at the event, Kind Music Festival celebrates California’s progressive stance on marijuana laws.

⚡️

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
