France Marijuana

Several countries have taken major steps forward by legalizing some form of marijuana in 2018. Canada and Uruguay set the pace. South Africa and Georgia loosened punishments for personal marijuana use.

Sri Lanka, Thailand and the United Kingdom all legalized medical marijuana this year, Newsweek reports. The international exportation and importation of marijuana is a hot topic of discussion as well. To some countries the revenue that legal marijuana could bring is very attractive.

These countries are the most likely to legalize marijuana in 2019:

  • France
  • Lebanon
  • Luxembourg
  • Mexico
  • Italy

Other countries may surprise the world and legalize some form of marijuana, even if it is just for the additional source of revenue.
