An Arizona dispensary chain is expanding into Tucson with three new locations anticipated this year.

Sol Flower‘s dispensaries are expected to open over the next couple of months. The dispensary chain is known for offering patient consultations, health classes and a wide variety of in-store products, Tucson.com reported.

New dispensary locations:

– 3000 W. Valencia Road is expected to open in August
– 4837 N. First Ave is expected to open in September
– Oracle Plaza (vicinity) is expected to open in September

Sol Flower is operated by Arizona-based Copperstate Farms, which hired the former governor’s son as CEO in Aug of 2022.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
