Peggy Noonan, the founder of Copia, a Tucson-based medical marijuana edibles company, expresses her gratitude for Arizona’s medical marijuana community during her battle with cancer. Below is Peggy’s letter to the community.
To my dear friends,
There are many of you that know me, for those of you whom I have not personally met, let me introduce myself – I’m Peggy Noonan and have been providing infused products to Dispensaries in the Arizona Medical Marijuana program for the past 4 years. This industry is my passion and my love. Much to my surprise, on August 14, 2017, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. My experience with this illness has been a wake-up call on all levels of life. Over the past 90 days, I have experienced the most amazing awakening of how I have been blessed and how I want to extend those blessings to others.
I especially want to acknowledge and thank everyone in the MMJ Community for your care, kind texts, and support, – and particularly your creation of Team Peggy with T-shirts. You have been extraordinary, and It has made a profound difference in my fight against cancer. You have all been part of the tremendous success of my ongoing treatment and recovery.
My health and business have been inspired by this fast, furious and mind-blowing experience. And what I chose to put in the Universe from the moment of diagnosis and moving forward is to be Magic and Miracles, Health, Love and Light.
In doing so, I want to introduce you to our new company Copia. With my new partners and my supportive work family, we are excited to bring you and the patients in Arizona your favorite, high quality, consistent medicine along with some new surprises. We hope that you will embrace us again.
As always, I’d love to hear from you, comments ideas or suggestions.
Thank you so much,
Peggy Noonan
