Totally Baked Cookie Company

One late night, while Arizona State University law student Avery Brooks was stoned with her friends, she realized there aren’t many places in downtown Phoenix to satiate her munchies. So, she decided to start Totally Baked Cookie Company, a food truck with marijuana-themed cookies.

“I was really high, and I was with my friends, and there was no place to order cookies from — or anything from — after midnight,” Brooks told Fox 10. That’s when Brooks had her “aha!” moment.

Some of Totally Baked’s trademarked, marijuana-themed cookies include: OG Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Express, Wake n’ Bake Fruity Pebbles, SnickerDaddy, and White Chocolate Widow. (None of the cookies are infused with marijuana.)

Totally Baked is open late night too — till 4 a.m.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
