Mint Cannabis, which has three marijuana dispensaries in Arizona, is partnering with Commerce Medical Group to offer pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics for those 18+ at its Valley locations as part of a “Snax for Vaxx” program. Vaccine recipients ages 21 and up will get a free edible and a free pre-roll.
Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the free vaccination clinics are scheduled to take place at the Mint in Guadalupe (5210 S. Priest Dr., Guadalupe, AZ 85283) on Tuesday, June 1, at the Mint’s Mesa location (330 E. Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210) on Wednesday, June 2 and at the Mint’s newest location in north Phoenix (17036 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85032) on Thursday, June 3.
The pop-up clinics will be administering the Moderna vaccine for adults 18+. As an added convenience, no pre-registration is required as the vaccinations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free rides to the Mint’s vaccine sites are available through Uber. Through a partnership with the White House, Uber will provide complimentary transportation to and from vaccination appointments now through July 4. Rides are available through the Uber app and are valid for four free rides (two round-trip rides) up to $25 each.
