Marijuana Delivery

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) will allow recreational marijuana deliveries to begin on Nov 1, 2024. Previously, marijuana deliveries were only available to the state’s medical marijuana patients.

The ADHS had a deadline of January 1, 2025 to implement the new delivery law, but decided to implement it early. The final rules are published in Title 9 Chapter 17 for medical marijuana and in Chapter 18 for adult-use marijuana.

“Providing adult use marijuana directly to consumers is one of many steps to normalize cannabis use,” said Ann Torrez, Executive Director of Arizona Dispensaries Association (ADA). “Legal, safe cannabis for adult consumers continues to be the goal of the regulated market.”

Many state-licensed dispensaries throughout Arizona will soon be offering delivery services. Non-dispensary delivery operators will also be offering recreational cannabis delivery services in Arizona; However, these entities will have to partner with a state-licensed dispensary to legally deliver cannabis.

We will list Arizona marijuana delivery services on AZmarijuana.com’s Delivery page by their region:
Phoenix area delivery
Southern Arizona delivery (Tucson, Yuma, etc.)
Northern Arizona delivery (Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, Payson, etc.)

“The launch of adult-use delivery in Arizona allows licensed dispensary operators to not only serve a greater portion of our state population, but also to offer additional and convenient means of serving our existing customers,” said Michael O’Brien, CEO of Ponderosa Dispensary & ADA Board Member. “As a dispensary owner, it is important for us to be able to ensure that our customers and patients continue to receive the highest level of service and quality products, while still being delivered in an efficient and compliant manner. We are excited to be able to extend our existing delivery services to our recreational customers.”
