More Bass AZmarijuana

The Arizona-based companies AZMarijuana.com and More Bass have announced they will collaborate to offer a marijuana-themed radio station on the soon-to-be-released More Bass app, a technology that will provide various themed radio stations, event listings and social integrations such as messaging and chatting.

AZMarijuana.com’s radio station will be host to an array of marijuana-related music – such as reggae, rock, hip hop, pop and more — that anyone can listen to for free with the More Bass app (launching summer 2017). AZMarijuana.com plans to work with local bands to get their music streamed to More Bass users.

“We’re thrilled to bring free music streaming to Arizona’s marijuana community and supporters. The More Bass app will provide Arizonans with the ability to listen to awesome music, find local events and interact with other users via in-app messaging and chatting,” said an AZMarijuana.com spokesperson. “This is an exceptional technology that will help AZMarijuana.com to entertain, connect and interact with more Arizona marijuana users and supporters.”

More Bass Founder and CEO, Scott Weber, stated, “Soon after our companies had a by chance encounter, I decided to seize this opportunity to work with another local business that influences a large demographic in a very unique and quickly blooming industry. Our collaboration will help AZMarijuana.com connect with and grow the state’s legal medical marijuana community and help More Bass reach more local music lovers.”

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
