Sol Flower Arizona

Arizona-based cannabis company Copperstate Farms has reached an agreement to acquire management rights and control of two Level Up (formerly MedMen Arizona) marijuana licenses and dispensaries that are located in Scottsdale and Tempe.

“We are excited to build upon the strong foundation established by the Level Up owners and team who have placed a premium on quality medicine and customer service,” Copperstate Farms said. “Copperstate Farms sees tremendous value in these locations, which will allow us to further expand our Sol Flower dispensary brand.”

The two Level Up dispensaries will be rebranded as Sol Flower dispensaries, Copperstate Farms’ dispensary brand that currently has locations in Sun City and Tempe.

“Having solidified our position as the leading wholesale operation in the State of Arizona, we are delighted to begin expanding our retail footprint,” Copperstate Farms stated.

Copperstate Farms has the largest indoor cannabis cultivation facility in the United States, with 40 acres under glass and is the parent company to multiple product lines. The company also holds exclusive distribution and manufacturing rights to several top-selling brands, including internationally awarded DNA Genetics and Good Things Coming.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
