Curaleaf Arizona

This week, Swell Farmacy’s four dispensaries – all of which are located in the Phoenix metro area – will assume their parent company’s name, Curaleaf.

The four Curaleaf dispensaries will be offering grand opening and first-time-patient specials. Even if patients visited the dispensaries when they were operating as Swell Farmacy, they are eligible for first-time-patient specials at Curaleaf.

The grand openings:
– Sept 27: Curaleaf (Central)
– Sept 28: Curaleaf (Camelback)
– Sept 29: Curaleaf (Bell)
– Sept 30: Curaleaf (Youngtown)

First-time-patient specials:
– First visit: BOGO free any single item in the dispensary (flower, edibles, concentrates)*
– Second visit: FREE pre-roll – or – $5 off with $20 purchase
– Third visit: FREE gram – or – $10 off with $20 purchase

“As one of the largest and fastest growing cannabis companies in the U.S., we are eager to capitalize on the growing recognition of the Curaleaf brand among the patient population,” stated Joseph Lusardi, CEO of Curaleaf. “As we have continued to expand our national footprint, Curaleaf has become synonymous with wellness and has gained a reputation as a trusted provider of reliable and high-quality medical cannabis products in multiple categories, which are dispensed in a compassionate environment by knowledgeable staff.”

Headquartered in Massachusetts, Curaleaf is in 11 states and owns and operates 30 dispensaries, 10 cultivation sites and 14 processing sites with a focus on highly populated, limited license states.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
