LeafLink, the cannabis industry’s leading wholesale marketplace, unveiled its latest state-by-state wholesale cannabis pricing guide.
The national average wholesale prices per cananbis product category are:
– Cartridges: $18.02 per gram
– Concentrates: $11.08 per gram
– Edibles: $0.07 per mg
– Flower: $995.46 per pound
– Pre-rolls: $5.27 per gram
Alaska is the state with the most expensive marijuana products, in general. Meanwhile, Arizona has the most expensive pre-rolls, the least expensive flower, and all other products’ pricing is about average compared to most states.
Arizona saw a decrease in average wholesale pricing across all categories. Cultivation is uncapped in the state, driving oversupply dynamics and lowering prices. The state’s total Gross Merchandise Value was just shy of $355 million with cartridges accounting for 36% of that, or around $129 million. The average price for concentrates dropped by 24.8% compared to 2022, from $18.59 to $13.98. Flower in the $0-$499 range saw a significant jump in the percentage of slaes for 2023, from 37.5% to 56.9%.
