The One Reason Why Arizonans Should Vote to Legalize Marijuana

Put simply, Arizonans should vote to legalize adult-use (recreational) marijuana via the 2020 Smart & Safe Arizona Act ballot initiative because it will legalize marijuana. All other aspects of the initiative are essentially irrelevant because the most important thing, by far, is that marijuana gets legalized.

If the initiative fails, marijuana possession and use will remain a felony in Arizona (unless you’re a valid medical marijuana patient).

Ask yourself: Do I want marijuana to be legal in Arizona? If yes, then vote yes, and forget about the “small print” in the initiative (i.e., who gets to grow or sell marijuana, where marijuana can be consumed, etc) and focus only on the most important aspect: it will legalize recreational marijuana use in Arizona. Period.

Arizonans need to unite, support and vote for the Smart & Safe Arizona Act because, if they don’t, they will see another failed attempt at marijuana legalization, just like in 2016, which will keep marijuana possession and use a felony in the state.
