Here are a few tips to help you keep your marijuana nice and fresh for weeks – or longer.
Orange Peels
If you’ve found one of your favorite strains and it seems a little dry, you can add some moisture back into it by using orange or citrus peels. The natural essential oils and moisture in the peels help to rehydrate the dry flower so that it doesn’t completely crumble in your fingers or burn away when lit. You only need a couple of small pieces per quarter ounce. If you only have a couple of grams, you’ll only need a piece that is about 1” x 1”.
Humidors
Humidors are typically used to help keep cigars fresh, but they can do the same thing for marijuana. There are humidors available in some markets that are specifically for marijuana, but if they’re out of your price range, a cigar humidor is a great substitute.
Air-tight Containers
It is ideal to keep your marijuana flower in a container away from air exposure. Find a glass or plastic container with an air-tight seal to help your marijuana stay fresher much longer.
