Tommy Chong, who rose to fame as part of the comedic, marijuana-loving duo, Cheech & Chong, celebrated his 82nd birthday this week.
In the 70s and 80s, the powerhouse duo of Cheech & Chong filmed numerous hit movies, Do You Remember reported. In the 90s and 2000s, Tommy Chong appeared in more than sixty episodes of That ‘70s Show as well as in many other movies.
In 2015, Chong was diagnosed with cancer, which he successfully overcame with the use of marijuana, a healthy diet and exercise.
Chong has made the best of the recent marijuana legalization movement in the United States by using his popularity to help promote legalization and launch new marijuana-related products.
