Montel Williams Marijuana

TV personality Montel Williams was detained for having prescription marijuana in his luggage when traveling to Germany recently. German officials detained the television talk show host for roughly an hour. Williams had to provide documentation regarding his marijuana was in possession for medical use.

Williams was not cited or arrested at the Frankfurt airport, CBS News reports. Media networks attempted to contact the Frankfurt customs office and airport police for further commentary. Neither returned inquiries for further information.

Montel Williams is a long-time advocate of medical marijuana. He uses marijuana to manage chronic pain brought on by multiple sclerosis. He has been open about his use of medical marijuana anytime that it has come into question.
