The Arizona Department of Health Services’ (ADHS) latest medical marijuana program report, which covers November 2018, reveals that Arizona has:

  • 183,789 medical marijuana patients
  • 873 caregivers
  • 5,418 dispensary agents

The age ranges of Arizona’s medical marijuana patients are:

  • Under 18: 190
  • 18 to 30: 44,398
  • 31 to 40: 38,323
  • 41 to 50: 28,984
  • 51 to 60: 29,797
  • 61 to 70: 30,056
  • 71 to 80: 10,094
  • 81 and older: 1,947

According to the data, the sexes of Arizona’s patients are:

  • 109,610 males (59.64%)
  • 74,179 females (40.36%)

Patients’ medical marijuana qualifying conditions:

  • Chronic Pain: 160,807 (87.50%)
  • Cancer: 4,008
  • PTSD: 2,291
  • Seizures: 1,234
  • Muscle Spams: 865
  • Glaucoma: 1,105
  • Hepatitis C: 738

In November, Arizona dispensaries sold a total of 11,795 pounds of marijuana (188,733 ounces):

  • Marijuana flower: 10,861 pounds (173,788 ounces)
  • Marijuana edibles: 429 pounds
  • Other marijuana: 504 pounds
