The Arizona Department of Health Services’ (ADHS) March 2019 monthly medical marijuana program report reveals that Arizona has:

  • 193,672 medical marijuana patients
  • 802 caregivers
  • 5,705 dispensary agents

In March 2019, Arizona dispensaries sold a total of 12,932.98 pounds of marijuana (206,927.61 ounces):

  • Marijuana flower: 11,674.29 pounds (186,788.69 ounces)
  • Marijuana edibles: 546.1 pounds
  • Other marijuana:59 pounds

The age ranges of Arizona’s medical marijuana patients are:

  • Under 18: 187
  • 18 to 30: 46,730
  • 31 to 40: 40,464
  • 41 to 50: 30,734
  • 51 to 60: 30,967
  • 61 to 70: 31,658
  • 71 to 80: 10,871
  • 81 and older: 2,061

According to the data, the sexes of Arizona’s patients are:

  • 114,998 males (59.37%)
  • 78,674 females (40.62%)

  • Chronic Pain: 170,383 (87.98%)
