Curaleaf announced today that it will have two new dispensaries on the west side of the metro Phoenix area.
This will bring Curaleaf’s store count in Arizona to eight, all of which are in Maricopa county. According to US Census Bureau data, Maricopa is the nation’s fastest growing county for the third consecutive year.
The first new dispensary, which is expected to open in mid-August, will be in a new building off 83rd Avenue (2175 N 83rd Ave) in the immediate vicinity of Ak-Chin Pavilion, the popular outdoor concert amphitheater.
The second new dispensary, also expected to open in August, comes as a result of papers recently signed to bring Glendale Greenhouse onboard the Curaleaf family of dispensaries. In addition to the dispensary, this will also add a new cultivation and processing facility, which will expand the offerings Curaleaf will have for their Arizona medical marijuana patients.
“These new dispensaries show our commitment to all Arizona MMJ patients by providing them with more ways to have a safe and easy cannabis experience,” said Steve Cottrell, Curaleaf Arizona President. “And the new cultivation and processing facility will allow us to produce even more high-quality products for our patients to choose from.”
