Scottsdale Dispensaries

Arizona-based marijuana dispensary chain Sol Flower has opened two new dispensaries. One in North Scottsdale and one in North Tempe.

The new Scottsdale location is at 14980 N 78th Way #204 and the new Tempe location is at 2424 W University Dr.

“Having solidified our position as the leading wholesale operation in the State of Arizona, we are delighted to begin expanding our retail footprint,” the company said.

Sol Flower’s parent company, Copperstate Farms, has the largest indoor marijuana cultivation facility in the U.S. with 40 acres under glass. Copperstate also holds exclusive distribution and manufacturing rights in Arizona for several top-selling brands, including award-winning DNA Genetics and Good Things Coming.

The new Sol Flower dispensaries were purchased from Level Up in November.

Arizona legalized marijuana for recreational use in November 2020. The law allows adults aged 21+ to purchase, possess and use cannabis. State-licensed cannabis dispensaries began selling recreational marijuana in early 2021. There are over 150 dispensaries in Arizona — a majority of them are in populous areas such as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Recreational cannabis delivery services began operating in 2024.
